This was my very first RPG, and having started playing this game and finishing it to the end was one gigantic adventure. This is a simple game, which makes this so beautiful, casual, and wonderful to play. You have a group of characters, train them, teach them spells, equip them for battle, and fight your way through an epic adventure. You will reach several different villages and towns, explore very many different dungeons and battlefields, and fight many, many monsters and bosses. This game features random encounters while out in the fields/dungeons, much like Final Fantasy. The battles play out as turn based tactics, best compared to the game Shining Force. Each character can move their respective amount of squares/spaces, and you can move once each turn. You have to approach your enemy to be within range in order to attack, with the exception of long range attacks. You can use movement to flank/corner/surround your enemy, or even evade. This game has a variety of music, and even today I will remember one particular track until the day I die. Graphics are colorful, and while not as good as some other games, still make this game very beautiful to watch.Read full review
Granted I haven't played very far through it, but what I played so far was pretty boring and not really as much fun as some of the more well known RPGs from that Era. I've certainly played worse, but I've definitely played a lot better.
